God is Love. Therefore everything that God is and is not defines what Love really is

God is Whole (Holy). Whole: nothing is missing, nothing is broken, nothing needs to be added, and nothing needs to be taken away.

Therefore True Love is whole. The Love that God loves me with is whole, so the love I love God, myself and others with need be whole, need be God.

Which means:

• nothing or no one is missing from it
• nothing or no one is broken in it
• nothing or no one has to be added to it and
• nothing or no one has to be taken away from it

God is not an emotion or a feeling. He’s not a desire to have, get or take something. God is not sex or the climax after sex. He’s not a duty to be performed or a duty that is expected. He’s not a possession or an attachment and he is not to be taken for granted nor does he take things for granted.

Therefore “Love is not a condition”. Love is a choice!

How do we experience this kind of love? We get the righteous privilege to choose it by faith!

and if we don’t then….

•  it will appear that something or someone is missing from it
• it will appear that something or someone is broken in it
• it will appear that something or someone must be added to it
• it will appear that something or someone must be taken away from it

and now in possession of this truth, you get to make a choice. Will you chose to love God, yourself and others in this way or will you set yourself at odds with yourself and with God. Sad, but…..

Many Men don’t really Love God, themselves or others, they just offer lip service. They are more interested in satisfying their own selfish, fleshly, worldly desires (conditions).

True Love is a Choice of Practice and Disciplined Action. It is not a condition!

To truly Love like God, like Christ, a man must choose to be disciplined to set aside, cast off and let go of the things (behaviors, un-right thoughts, sins) that harden men’s hearts.

That is exactly, precisely, and with absolute certainty why Christ said; Come and follow me – Be one of my Disciples and then Go and make Disciples of other Men!

You Sir have been given an incredible life changing opportunity. You’ve been given the privilege, the honor and the opportunity to hang your illegitimate, un-whole, un-right, anti-christ thoughts, beliefs and feigned acts of love on the cross and be like Christ

Does this truth increase or decrease your desire, willingness and resolve to submit to discipleship?
Will you wait another day, another year, another decade?
Will you wait until it’s too late?

Friday afternoon I was asked by a client and friend if I would help him understand how to hear what God is saying! I was honored that he asked and consider it a privilege to share the simple truth.

Hearing from God is really simple, but it’s not easy!

It’s simple because God is always saying what needs to be heard. It’s not easy, because most men will not do what is required to tune in.

The exact same truth applies to your selling opportunities

How many conversations have you had with a prospect, client, family member or friend where your intended message was not heard? Why? Why didn’t they hear? Why didn’t you hear, that they didn’t hear?

There’s really only one cause, but their are many effects – for example:

• They enter the conversation with their own agenda, so if what you are saying doesn’t somehow support their agenda then they simply and subconsciously tune you out
• or they take only the part of what is being said that supports their agenda and subconsciously distort and or delete everything else
• They’re so busy chasing after or thinking about other things that their is not enough of them present to hear what you are saying
• or they have some subconscious, un-mentioned angst, feeling(s), or thought(s) about you, your product or service that unknowingly filters everything being said
• They have some foreign substance(s) (alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, certain foods, drugs, etc.) that alters, perverts, distorts and/or deletes what is being said

The Cause is a Fierce Truth

Today’s WUPA is centered around the Reality TV Show Shark Tank on ABC–tonight (check local times)! I encourage you to watch….

I’m convinced that we all have to find powerful and supernatural ways to stimulate and shift our thinking in new, creative, multi-dimensional, disruptively innovative and righteously irreverent ways or we will continue sinking with the rest of the world into a certain and rapidly approaching hell.

If you’ll tune in and watch this show using the mind of Christ as a filter, I’m certain you will discover things about yourself, your business, your challenges and opportunities that you will not discover with the same mind or thinking that you currently have.

Why am I doing this? It’s certainly NOT for any ulterior or self-serving purpose–I assure you.

No, my motivation is very positive, benevolent AND intentional.

You get to observe the irreverent, disruptive, revolutionary minds of people whose hourly pay vastly exceeds what I charge–by orders of magnitude!

Think about this…There are five “Sharks” on the Power Panel (who each pose unrelenting, hard-nosed, no-nonsense–and brilliantly incisive–questions of each business owner who comes looking for
capital).

EACH “Shark” is a legendary, mega-successful entrepreneur of a stature–you’d NEVER gain direct access to on your own–ordinarily. Nor would you ever be privy to see, first-hand, the way each one of their “steel-trap minds” thinks and functions.

You probably couldn’t afford them — if they even offered private consulting. Why? Most of them don’t even consult for mere fixed fees. They take big pieces of deals…they typically get involved in major transactions.

Remember — they’ve each (singularly) generated hundreds of millions — or billions — in sales and/or net worth. In short they’ve made it happen “real big” and they are also surprisingly genuine.

I don’t know Daymond John, but I know he has an exceptionally impressive and powerful business mind.

I understand from a friend who had kids on the set once that he was tremendously impressed with how “down-to-earth” and genuine Mark Cuban was, (he talked sports, life and kid-issues with them–privately/authentically for ten minutes…).

I have no personal gain, whatsoever, for writing and sending this… EXCEPT:

I think your mind will start thinking differently, more critically about your own business IF you start watching this show—AND reflecting on the lessons learned from every situation and segment they present.

Also–and I love this part—Shark Tank is a cool show for bringing together the whole family. It teaches entrepreneurship…it teaches people how to think differently.

It’s fun. And it demonstrates the sometimes amazing—–frequently, outrageously illogical—-ways different people think about business, marketplaces and creating value (or non-value) for the consumer.

Obviously, I could have used this e-mail to sell you something. But I prefer selling you on doing something enjoyable that might enrich you and your family–together, in some disarmingly simple- but surprisingly powerful way–for an hour this evening.

Why Should I Get Discipled (Coached)?

One without the other = certain loss.
The absence of both = certain disaster

Saturation perspective:

Imagine your business, your life is like a sponge and you’ve been given the ability to become water that can see in every direction. You pour yourself and all of your hope, your faith, your love, your creativity, your prayer, your deliberate intention onto and into the sponge and the sponge does what it does, it absorbs and absorbs until it reaches a state of complete saturation or of being unable to absorb anything more. Every surface, every nook and cranny, every dimension, every aspect has become covered in faith, hope, love, creativity, prayer, deliberate intent, in God’s spirit, in Christ’s mind.

What would you see?
What would you hear?
What would you know?
What would you change?
What would you do away with?

Will you slow down enough to engage in this process or will you keep swinging at the air, swinging at the shadows, fighting fires and reacting to the loudest squeaks in your life and business?

Our world needs men who will think higher, reach higher, live higher, build higher. Men who will build great businesses and great lives in the Kingdom of God?

Please allow me to reveal the Christ (Truth)

1. Most men don’t have or understand how to have a Truly Satisfying and  Fiercely Powerful relationship with God
2. There is always a cause that must be rooted out and given the death blow if you aren’t getting what you need to Thrive
3. The way that God is introduced to boys, young men and adult men will influence the future of their relationship with him
4. Everything is spiritual – the question is which spirit – Is it God or something bearing resemblance to God
5. God created everything to Be what he created it to Be and it is not possible for it to be something else and truly live
6. The resistance is not with God but with the spirit that is trying to prevent you from seeing, hearing and experiencing God
7. The battle is yours to fight, question is, are you willing to risk all to win the war

Wake Up and Pay Attention – Christ (Truth) cannot make you Free, if you don’t take action in, on, with and through Christ (Truth).

I can’t make this statement powerful enough – YOU ARE 100% RESPONSIBLE

The eternal question is: Will you get discipled, will you enroll in boot camp, will you attend seal team training, will you WARRIOR UP and give the death blow to all resembling spirits?

or will you hold onto the lies, sucking your thumb, waiting on God to burp you, to coddle you, to make all your pains go away? Whine, Whine, Whine…

Who’s more powerful, more mighty? Christ in and through you….

or that pacifist evil spirit whispering in your ear….. it’s ok, you just sit right here in your easy chair, let out the hem on your pants, eat your twinkies, watch the boob tube, play mindless games with your family, enjoy your cocktail, go fishing, ride your motorcycle, polish your trophies, suck your thumb, repeat again tomorrow…. cause God will take care of you.

Pay Attention! Pay Attention! Pay Attention!

There is a war being fought within you.

Have you surrendered? Has satan won?

I rolled out of bed at 3:37 this morning and the first conscious thought I had was…

“Men don’t understand what it means to have a relationship with God”

That got me thinking about the cause, remember, every effect has a cause and every cause has an effect.

Let’s see….what is the cause?

……?

Patience – I’m sifting and sorting through my own personal experience as a man’s man.

I got it!

My first encounter or impression of God was at a presbyterian church when I was 5 or 6 or 7. I was forced to sit with a bunch of yucky girls and learn to sing and play the recorder. I hated it! I hated it! Did I say that I hated it!

If this is what God is all about, then I don’t want any…..

I’m a boy in case you hadn’t noticed, my nature is fiercely opposed to feminine things – God didn’t wire me to do girly things and he didn’t give me any musical gifts. Don’t force me to do something I’m not wired to do.

Try to get a pig to meow or a dog to cluck. It ain’t gonna happen. It’s pure insanity

We have no authority to alter what God created. A man is masculine and has certain gifts, a woman is feminine and have certain gifts, a dog barks and a pig squeals.

Boys and men will turn to God and fiercely powerful relationships will develop, when the environment, the visual cues and the language used – speak directly to men and there masculine gifts.

Man, what a relief! I now know that I wasn’t fighting God most of my life!

I was fighting an unnatural spirit, that wanted nothing more, than to keep me from having a powerfully fierce and masculine relationship with my God, with my father, with my King!

I am honored to say that at the core of my being, I have been redeemed through Christ (Truth) and I declare, with white hot intensity, that I am a righteously fierce warrior through this intensely masculine relationship I have with my Father and with my Lord and with his whole spirit.

I found satan and I’ve wrung his scrawny neck

Can you hear what I hear?

I hear satan squealing as Christ’s Army of Men toss him into the pit, shut the gate and turn the key to lock the lock.

I’m following Christ’s lead! Who wants to join me?

P.S. No offense ladies, I love, respect and will honor each of you, but I ain’t a lady, I’m a man who loves and respects himself and is honored to be a man. (smiles)

Just in case you were not aware – We are at war!

God has made it clear that all men are called into battle as warriors.

But why? I just want to sit in my easy chair and watch the game

Because our enemy is watching and waiting on us to lower our guard so he can take the death shot. Those illegitimate un-right thoughts rolling around in your head will eventually get acted on if you don’t deliver them the death blow. If they reamin alive and active they will eventually give birth to death and destruction somewhere in your life.

Where is the war?

Between those two paddles on the sides of your head and in your heart and in your mouth.

Who is the enemy?

Un-right thoughts and un-right things and un-right choices.

What are my weapons?

We drive through life in a high performance vehicle called a body, but that is not where the war is located: but we are made mighty in our bodies through God to pull down all strong holds;) to cast down all imaginations, and every thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and arrest every thought to be obedient to Christ (Truth); and to be accountable to release all things that do not belong to Christ (Truth)

We are exceedingly powerful in God and in his mighty power. We get to put on the full armor of God, so that we can take our stand against satan’s schemes. Our fight is against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. In other words, against all the un-right thoughts that have created all of the un-right things that lie, distract, bind and imprison.

So we get to put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, we can stand our ground, and after getting to do everything, we get to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around our waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, we get to take up the shield of faith, with which we will extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. We get to Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

How do I win?

We get to Wrestle every opposing thought to the ground, pin it to the mat and then wait on the referee to declare our victory, so we can jump up and down in celebration.

or we get to go to the driving range and practice driving those un-right thoughts down the fairway. We get to keep on driving those un-right thoughts down the fairway until we can drive the them in any direction, under all conditions, at anytime, with complete control.

or we get to go to the gun range and practice shooting those un-right thoughts at the enemy target while we dial in the sights so that with great expertise we can hit the enemy where it counts, from all distances, under all condition and at all times.

or you get to hire a great coach to help you. (smiles)

I choose never to steal from myself or from others in (business or in life)

I have made an irrevocable choice to give all of my being (my mind, my emotions, my physical body, my choice) in business and in life to God, through all of Christ.

Christ being the only right, the only light, the only path, the only truth and the highest order in (business and life) I can choose!

I have made an irrevocable choice to give all of who I am in Christ to men of business and of life, to wealth creation, to the security and financial well-being of my family, my friends, my staff, my team, my employees and my vendor partners and because they have committed themselves to me, my minimal obligation is to get the highest and best results from all that I do.

I therefore, have made an irrevocable choice to never knowingly accept a fraction of the yield, in (business and life) when with the same effort or less and the same people or fewer and with the same time or less and the same capital or less and with the same opportunity cost or less, I am able to deliver much more to all, Now and Perpetually.

I have made an irrevocable choice to Be like Christ in everything that I Be, Do and Have!

Be like Christ (business and life)

• Choose to Be Right in Mind so some can become Right in Mind
• Choose to Be Whole (nothing is missing, nothing must be added) Complete
• Choose to Be the Light that some will use to See
• Choose to Be the Path some will choose to take
• Choose to Be the Truth some will choose to embrace

Do like Christ (business and life)

• Choose to Love others in Advance
• Choose to Do for others what is Needed
• Choose to Fiercely Confront darkness by being Light
• Choose to Find and Save all that is lost
• Choose to be what God and his people need me to Be

Have like Christ (business and life)

• Choose Health
• Choose Excellence
• Choose Abundance
• Choose Wholeness
• Choose Freedom
